Finding the right lens for you

Our optometrists will talk you through your vision needs and what your day-to-day life is like before recommending a lens type. It could be a straightforward single vision lens, or it might be progressives for those juggling near & distance vision, or it could even be something more specialised.

Common options include:

  • Single vision: One prescription, for distance, reading or general use
  • Progressive lenses: Seamless correction across near, intermediate and distance in one lens, no visible line
  • Blue light filtering: For heavy screen use, reduces glare and eye strain
  • Anti-glare / anti-reflective coating: Clearer vision, especially at night and better-looking lenses with less reflection
  • Photochromic (transition) lenses: Adjust automatically from clear indoors to tinted outdoors
  • Thin & light lenses: For higher prescriptions, keeping frames looking sleek rather than bottle-thick

We will walk you through what we feel is worth prioritising for your specific prescription and lifestyle.

Better insight.
Better eye care.
